OUR SUSTAINABLE SWIMWEAR PRODUCTION

For our love of the oceans and to decrease our environmental footprint as much as we can, we wanted to make our swimwear out of recycled material and produce it in an ethical manner. Here is the journey of our swimwear production.

1. Collecting

Our swimwear fabric starts its journey as fishing nets, carpet flooring, fabric scraps and plastic from landfills and oceans all over the world. This waste is collected through different initiatives and projects.

2. Recycling

After a regeneration and purification process the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. These yarns are then created into fabric per our unique designs – the essence of our collections. Most of our items are reversible, which means you get two in one. Our swimwear fabric is made with ECONYL® & REPREVE.

3. Manufacturing

All Halla Halla swimwear is ethically made with love in Bali, Indonesia by talented local seamstresses. We wanted to give something back to the place that inspired our designs and using local talent is our way of contributing to the economy.

4. Packing

After the products are finished, they are placed in biodegradable bags and shipped directly to customers. All our packaging is eco-friendly.

5. Enjoying

Then our amazing Halla Huns receive their ethical, sustainable, and durable swimwear pieces, ready to be used on land and in water.
